Every step of the way, we advised on storyboard, which bid elements needed to be further drawn out in the narrative, potential logistical filming issues, how to integrate graphics to help tell the story – a very value-added engagement.
Security systems corporate
This was the client’s first real foray into video. The key challenge was to describe the business as a whole, each of its key services, but keep the video as short as possible and allow the viewer to contextualise everything as the video went on.
The source was a tight script from the marketing agency and a concept for the logo graphics which highlighted the many-as-one structure and allowed the various divisions to be chained together.
The shoot was a single day at various proximate locations, plus a supplementary short session further away. We purposely put the CEOs intro within the main office so as to give an inclusive feel to the company.
Following completion the final phase was to get the client live on YouTube and get the channel branded and keyworded properly.
A lighting company promo video, tightly scripted for a 1-minute award entry. Comments were very favourable, not only about the video itself but about the value we added to the process.
One of our favourite ever projects, despite needing something like 30 setups in 8 locations in the course of a day. This was an early use of the Canon 5D and it proved its worth in focussing attention onto subject matter and away from sometimes stark backgrounds.
