This simple project video case study shows the work of an electrical contractors and how they service lights at a local sports venue.
Lighting company promo
This young company were entering an award and having seen previous poor competing video entries were determined to make an engaging product.
The script and storyboard were derived during a 3-party consultation meeting which we attended, adding our input. The client commented that our contribution far exceeded what they expected from a video company. (We have also subsequently been referred work from the marketing agency, who were also impressed.)
The project was up against a 3 week deadline, so the storyboard and outline script were agreed within a few days and the shoot date set.
The shoot involved travelling to 4 separate locations in the London area, filming examples of the client’s work. We used a DSLR camera to focus on the key items, and also a camera slider to give a slick look.
The finessed script was sent to the voiceover artist whom we had sourced, and the voiceover was married to the draft edit which was produced within 3 days of the shoot.
The client was very pleased with the draft, and with a few tweaks to the graphics we had a finished edit a few days later, in time for the deadline.
We have already discussed future work together.
We produced this new client security systems corporate video, visiting a number of locations on the shoot day. As part of the project we also undertook script revisions and graphics work.
Our ‘done in a day’ service is ideal when there’s a tight deadline, made even tighter by client postponements. In 2016 we filmed this talking head in London between 10 and 12, then edited onsite for completion and approval by 3pm.
